Established in 2008, The Clarke Cares Foundation aims to save lives and reduce suffering from mosquito and water-borne illnesses for those with critical needs around the world.
Today, the Clarke Cares Foundation raises funds through three primary channels:
Programs:The Foundation’s programs drive donations for two primary projects. In partnership with The Carter Center, the Foundation raises funds for its The Net for Net Project, which delivers mosquito bed nets to Nigerian families. The Safe Water Saves Lives Project supports Pure Water for the World programs that bring safe drinking water and sanitation solutions to communities in need, primarily across Latin America.
Events:Events are regularly hosted in support of the Foundation to raise funds and spread awareness. Annual events include the Foundation's Swingin' for Nets golf outing and the Stand Up for Safe Water paddleboarding event, along with other community fundraisers like a Kentucky Derby party, church fundraisers and school-sponsored drives.
Internal:Clarke remains actively involved in driving the Foundation’s mission internally, by providing matching gifts for Clarke employees and spreading awareness and interest among customers and colleagues.
